White Chocolate Oreo Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
02 - 2 ¾ cups (468g) white chocolate chips
03 - 10 Oreos, chopped, plus extra broken pieces for topping
04 - ⅛ tsp salt
05 - ½ tsp vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Line a square 8 or 9 inch baking dish with aluminum foil, ensuring the foil extends up the sides of the pan. Set aside.
02 - In a glass microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips. Stir with a spatula until combined.
03 - Microwave on full power for 1 minute only. Do not microwave longer, as the mixture will melt and come together as you stir. Stir until the chocolate chips are completely melted and combined. Note: Over-microwaving can cause the chocolate to scorch and result in crumbly fudge.
04 - Stir in the chopped Oreos, salt, and vanilla extract until evenly distributed.
05 - Transfer the fudge to the prepared pan and spread into an even thickness. Press extra Oreo pieces into the top if desired. Allow the fudge to set on the counter for at least 4 hours, or overnight. You can loosely cover the top of the fudge with foil during setting.
06 - Once set, cut the fudge into squares. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1-2 weeks.

# Notes:

01 - Be careful not to overheat the white chocolate as it can seize easily.
02 - For cleaner cuts, use a warm knife wiped clean between slices.
