Very Best Iced Tea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tea Base

01 - 5 black tea bags
02 - 4 cups boiling water (950 ml)
03 - 4 cups cold water (950 ml)

→ Flavorings

04 - Several sprigs of fresh mint
05 - 200g sugar (approximately 1 cup)
06 - 160 ml fresh lemon juice (2/3 cup)

# Instructions:

01 - Place the tea bags, mint, and sugar in a large pitcher (capacity of at least 2 liters). Pour the boiling water over the top and let steep for 10 minutes.
02 - Remove the mint and tea bags, gently squeezing the bags to extract maximum flavor.
03 - Add the fresh lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher, stirring until well combined.
04 - Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves or lemon slices if desired.

# Notes:

01 - The type of black tea used will influence the final flavor profile. Consider Ceylon or English Breakfast for classic iced tea flavor.
02 - Adjust sugar to taste - reduce for a less sweet version or substitute with honey for a different flavor dimension.
