04 - 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce

06 - 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
07 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
08 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

→ Optional Additions

09 - 1 tablespoon butter, for extra richness

# Instructions:

01 - Slice each zucchini into 2-inch long pieces, then cut each piece into 6 wedges, creating perfect bite-sized morsels that will absorb all the flavors.
02 - Warm the vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
03 - Add zucchini and chopped onion to the hot pan, allowing them to sizzle and begin to soften for about 2 minutes.
04 - Pour in the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Allow the sauces to caramelize, coating the vegetables with a glaze.
05 - Continue cooking for 4-5 more minutes, stirring occasionally, until the zucchini reaches your preferred tenderness.
06 - Remove from heat and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. If desired, stir in a tablespoon of butter for extra richness and shine.
