# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 3 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
03 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

04 - 1 ½ cups white sugar
05 - 1 cup margarine, softened
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl; set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, beat sugar and margarine with an electric mixer until smooth.
03 - Wrap the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
04 - Beat the first egg into the butter mixture, then beat in the second egg along with the vanilla extract.
05 - Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
06 - Wrap the dough again and chill in the refrigerator for another 2 hours.
07 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease two cookie sheets.
08 - Roll out the dough on a clean, floured surface to a 1/4-inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and arrange them on the prepared cookie sheets.
09 - Bake in batches for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Let cool briefly on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
