Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray an 8x8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix (reserve the included cinnamon mixture), egg, and butter. Mix until a dough forms.

Press about 2/3 of the dough into the prepared baking dish, reserving the remaining 1/3 of the dough.

Spread the apple pie filling evenly on top of the pressed cookie dough.

Drop the reserved 1/3 of the dough in small pieces over the apple pie filling. Sprinkle the reserved cinnamon and sugar mixture over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 50-55 minutes until golden brown.

Allow the dessert to cool completely. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and milk, adding milk gradually to reach desired consistency.

Drizzle the glaze over the cooled dessert. Cut into 9 squares or desired portions and serve.
