Roasted Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, tender
02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
04 - 3 tablespoons oil
05 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
06 - 1 teaspoon honey
07 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, roasted

# Instructions:

01 - Wash Brussels sprouts and pat them dry. Remove any yellowish or spotted outer layers. Cut each sprout in half.
02 - If needed, toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan until golden. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 218°C (425°F).
03 - Place halved Brussels sprouts in a large mixing bowl. Add oil, salt, and pepper. Toss thoroughly to ensure even coating.
04 - Arrange seasoned Brussels sprouts on the prepared baking tray. Bake at 218°C for 20 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes to ensure even browning.
05 - Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and honey, then mix well. Sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, choose firm, bright green Brussels sprouts with tightly packed leaves.
02 - Flipping the sprouts during roasting ensures caramelization on multiple sides.
