Boursin Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 450g fresh salmon, cut into 4 pieces

→ Seasonings

02 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - Salt and pepper to taste
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 1 tablespoon butter

→ Sauce

06 - 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
07 - 180ml low-sodium chicken broth
08 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
09 - 150g Boursin Fine Herbs & Garlic cheese, softened
10 - 1-2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Remove salmon from refrigerator 15-30 minutes before cooking. Pat each piece dry and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
02 - Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until lightly browned but not fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.
03 - Add onions to the same skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened and lightly golden.
04 - Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and Boursin cheese to the skillet. Stir continuously until smooth. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, then incorporate chopped parsley.
05 - Return salmon to the skillet. Reduce heat and cook for another 3-5 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and sauce has thickened. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, ensure the Boursin cheese is at room temperature before adding to the sauce for smoother incorporation.
