# Ingredients:

01 - 1 Tablespoon olive oil
02 - 8 oz fresh shishito peppers
03 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
04 - 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
05 - 2 teaspoons honey
06 - Sea salt or flake salt, for garnish
07 - Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
08 - Aioli sauce, for dipping (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Once hot, add oil.

03 - A few seconds before removing peppers from heat, add minced ginger to the pan and sauté briefly. Drizzle peppers with soy sauce and honey, then toss to combine.
04 - Transfer peppers to a serving plate and garnish with salt and sesame seeds. Serve immediately, with aioli for dipping if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Shishito peppers are generally mild, but approximately one in ten can be spicy.
