Baked Brie with Fig Jam (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz. wheel of Brie cheese
02 - 3 tablespoons fig jam
03 - 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
04 - 1-2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
05 - Crostini, crackers, or sliced baguette for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Place wheel of brie on a parchment lined baking sheet, keeping it in the wooden container if it came in one.
03 - Using a sharp knife, slice a crosshatch pattern across the top of the brie.
04 - Spread fig jam evenly across the top of the wheel of brie. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and fresh thyme leaves.
05 - Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the inside is gooey and melted. Test by gently pressing on the top of the rind with a spoon to feel if it is soft inside.
06 - Serve warm with sliced crusty French baguette, crackers, or crostini.

01 - This elegant appetizer is best served immediately while the cheese is still warm and melty.
