Italian Sub Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salad Base

01 - 3 cups freshly chopped Romaine lettuce
02 - 2 ounces sliced turkey
03 - 1/2 ounce sliced salami
04 - 1/2 ounce sliced provolone cheese
05 - 1 Tablespoon banana peppers
06 - 1 Tablespoon sliced black olives
07 - 6 cherry tomatoes, halved

→ Homemade Italian Vinaigrette

08 - 1 packet Good Seasonings Italian Dressing mix
09 - 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
10 - 2 Tablespoons white vinegar
11 - 1 1/2 Tablespoons water
12 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
13 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
14 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
15 - 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
16 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Place the chopped lettuce in a medium bowl. Top lettuce with sliced turkey, salami, provolone, banana peppers, olives and tomatoes.
02 - Prepare dressing as directed on the back of the packet using the oil, water and vinegar. Once prepared, add the remaining dressing ingredients starting with the dried Italian seasoning. Whisk well to combine everything.
03 - Drizzle one ounce of the prepared Italian dressing over the salad and enjoy! Store remaining dressing in the refrigerator for a few hours to chill and let the flavors blend together.

# Notes:

01 - The homemade dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
02 - For a more authentic Italian sub experience, add pepperoncini or roasted red peppers.
